Samantha Foon is the creative force behind "Yenta Girl," where she brings Jewish storytelling, connection, community and engaging narratives to life through her personality-driven content. Through her videos and social media presence, she captures meaningful moments and experiences, enhancing visibility, energy and authenticity for brands, organizations and events.

Known for her warmth, humor and relatability, Samantha creates content that helps audiences feel more connected, inspired and engaged. While her roots are deeply embedded in community storytelling, she collaborates with a diverse range of brands and organizations, offering a fresh, human approach to content that celebrates culture, connection and everyday moments.

Samantha works with organizations as both a content creator and moderator, translating mission-driven work into stories and experiences that resonate. Whether she’s capturing events, leading conversations or building digital engagement, her focus is on creating lasting connections that extend beyond the moment.

In addition to her role as a creator, Samantha is a dedicated leader in Detroit’s Jewish community. She serves as the incoming Philanthropy Co-Chair of the Jewish Federation National Young Leadership Cabinet and as Lion of Judah Co-Chair for Detroit Federation Women’s Philanthropy. Additionally, she is a trustee of the Jewish Women’s Foundation of Metro Detroit. Her involvement also includes organizations such as World ORT, Taproots at Camp Walden and the Bookstock Used Book and Media Sale. She is the Vice President of Family Programming for the J of Metro Detroit and a former executive board member of NEXTGen Detroit. Samantha is a contributing writer and content creator for the Detroit Jewish News and has been honored as the 2024 Sill’s Golf Classic honoree and the 2026 Sylvia Simon Greenberg Young Leadership Award recipient.

She resides in Metro Detroit with her husband and their children.
