Meet Samantha Foon

Samantha Foon is the voice behind “Yenta Girl,” where she brings connection, community and storytelling to life through engaging, personality-driven content. Through her videos and social presence, she highlights meaningful moments and experiences, bringing visibility, energy and authenticity to brands, organizations and events.


Known for her warmth, humor and relatability, Samantha creates content that helps audiences feel more connected, inspired and engaged. While her roots are grounded in community storytelling, she partners with a wide range of brands and organizations, bringing a fresh, human approach to content that celebrates culture, connection and everyday moments.


Samantha works with organizations as both a content creator and moderator, helping translate mission-driven work into stories and experiences that resonate. Whether capturing events, leading conversations or building digital engagement, she focuses on creating connection that lasts beyond the moment.


In addition to her work as a creator, Samantha is a committed leader in Detroit’s Jewish community. She serves as the incoming Philanthropy Co-Chair of Jewish Federation National Young Leadership Cabinet and as Lion of Judah Co-Chair for Detroit Federation Women’s Philanthropy. She is also a trustee of the the Jewish Women’s Foundation of Metro Detroit. Her work extends to World ORT, Taproots at Camp Walden, and Bookstock Used Book and Media Sale. She is Vice President of Family Programming for the J of Metro Detroit and a past NEXTGen Detroit executive board member.


Samantha is a contributing writer and content creator for the Detroit Jewish News and has been recognized as the 2024 Sill’s Golf Classic honoree and the 2026 Sylvia Simon Greenberg Young Leadership Award recipient.


She lives in Bloomfield Hills, MI with her husband, Mikey, and their twins, Riley and Easton.
